Unified Soul has been described as a small band with a big sound and crowd pleasing energetic performance. Veteran vocalist David Deon (Lead Vocals, Bass Guitar, Keyboards and Hand sonic Percussion) delivers explosive vocals with soulful ballads like Marvin Gayes "Let's get it on" to Usher's smooth hip hop ballad "U Got it bad".
Funk jams from James Brown, Gap Band and Commodores to Top 40 Rock, Pop and Hip Hop tunes. David delivers old school dance steps & the fresh new hip-hop moves, Deon is the consummate entertainer and ultimate front man.
Marquis on Keyboards and Synth leaves fans and musicians alike mesmerized with his left hand bass playing and his sweet, melodic, Jazz and R&B influenced chord phrasings.
Drummer Joe Holloway lays the back bone in the band with what makes Funk, Soul and R&B so danceable and that funky rhythm is what earned him the name "Timbale Joe the Funky Drummer". The Unified Soul trio is a great package for smaller venues that have a party crowd atmosphere. The trio is also a perfect match for club venues or weddings with a limited budget.
